Pyramids and camels planned for Stourhead in World War 1 project

We went to Stourhead, the National Trust estate in Wiltshire, to discuss the project to commemorate the effect of World War 1 on the community with five installations by the Scraptors. The installations will be put in  from February 2015 over two years. This is one of our preliminary drawings.. Many of the local men joined the Dorset Yeomanry which fought at Gallipoli and in Palestine. Camels were used for transport. The off duty soldiers in Egypt naturally visited the pyramids at Giza near Cairo.
