A Dragon and a Merry-go-round
This is a dragon in the garden of Paul and Rachel. Below is a merry-go-round which will be part of an installation about to be erected at Stourhead, the National Trust property in Wiltshire. Our sculpture trail "Stourhead will never forget" commemorates the effect of World War 1 on the community with five installations in place. Our sixth installation will commemorate Harry Hoare, heir to the estate who was killed in November 1917 in Palestine. The installation will evoke his nursery at Stourhead but with intimations of his sad end.
