Turnpike Lane Lapwing London

We are always interested to see images of the birds that we are erecting in our Bird Henge in Wiltshire. In the unlikely setting of a street in Turnpike Lane north London is a picture of a Lapwing aka a Peewit. The dynamic Turnpike Arts Group have brightened up several streets with street art. Below an owl and a fox. Nearby a Banksy appeared on the side of a Poundland shop and disappeared.

We will have a Barn Owl in Bird Henge. The one below is more like a Tawny Owl. Our Lapwing/Peewit is up and survived the acid test of surviving some severe wind perched on its post. Its front needs a little adjustment but that is not the fault of the wind.
